The school holidays are fast approaching but never fear – a wide variety of Bundaberg Regional Council events are on offer to keep the kids entertained.

Between April 4 and 30 there will be free art fun, stop-motion animation and creative food on offer.

The calendar also incorporates Re:Act Youth Month events including the Youth Summit After Dark and Youth Art Place Exhibition.

With such a diverse range to choose from, there’s sure to be something for everyone!

Stop Motion Animation Creation

Teens are invited to libraries in Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin to create a Stop Motion Animation using Lego, toys and 3D printed objects.

This is a free activity for participants aged 12+.

Youthfest Gin Gin

Enjoy music, rides, food and more at the Gin Gin Youth Activity Centre and surrounding parkland area. You can even help decorate and name the Gin Gin Cow as part of the fun.

Outdoor Art Room

Bundaberg Regional Art Galleries will be offering free art activities in the park next to the gallery at 1 Barolin Street.

Creative food

Teens can get creative with food at Bundaberg and Gin Gin libraries. Bookings are essential call 4130 4140.

Epic earth day

Free activities will be held in Buss Park before a free screening of Epic (PG) at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre.

Stress Busters

Bundaberg library will host a session for teens to learn tips and tricks to help ease stress and tension.

Youth Summit After Dark and Youth Art Place Exhibition

The fun of the Youth Summit will continue in to the evening giving all residents aged 12-25 years the chance to participate between 5pm – 8pm. Held at the Multiplex, the event is held in conjunction with the Youth Art Place Exhibition.
