Southern Cross Support Services has sponsored a new sail for Sailability Bundaberg and it was put through its paces on the Burnett River on Thursday.
Sailability Bundaberg is a community-based organisation dedicated to providing sailing opportunities for people with a disability regardless of age, gender or ability.
The organisation aims to give people with disabilities the opportunity to realise their dreams by achieving freedom on the water.
It’s a non-profit organisation run by volunteers and relies on community support for funding.
Sailability operates most Thursday mornings from the Bundaberg Sailing Club at 66 Strathdees Road, weather permitting.

Southern Cross Support Services is a registered NDIS provider.
Support services include life skills support/training, community participation, in-home support and supported accommodation, respite, animal care programs and day programs with social activities.
