CQUniversity is helping prospective students find the perfect study and career paths at an upcoming Open Day event.

The Bundaberg campus will open its doors for visitors to explore its facilities and attend information sessions, while enjoying food and entertainment.

An Open Day will be held on Saturday, 10 August with prospective students and parents invited to attend.

“Experts will be on hand to discuss up to 300 TAFE and university qualifications available through CQUniversity,” Associate Vice-Chancellor (Wide Bay) Luke Sinclair said.

“They can also explain various study and career pathways for students who are still at school, those who will soon be school leavers, and adults considering a return to study.”

The Open Day will begin at 9am to 1pm at the CQUniversity campus on University Drive and will feature a number of interactive workshops on the day.

“Interactive activities include science and engineering demonstrations, a flight simulator, a spot-the-hazard challenge with accident forensics, and play-based learning with early childhood,” Mr Sinclair said.
