Tickets to The Rubens Bundy show on sale tomorrow

The Rubens – Live in Life

The Rubens are preparing for a whirlwind tour of Australia with Bundaberg named as the first pit-stop for their Live in Life shows.

Tickets will officially go on sale tomorrow for the local event, to be held at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 14 May.

Supported by Triple J, the 27-date run will see the five-piece band play a combination of metro and regional venues from May through June in celebration of their infectious summer jam, Live In Life.

During the past year, The Rubens have travelled to North America, UK and Europe for headline tours, performed and released their MTV Unplugged Live In Melbourne album, slayed the main stage unveiling their collaboration with punk hip-hop star Vic Mensa at Splendor In The Grass and between all of that, bunkered down to write and focus on new music.

The Live In Life tour is another tip of the hat to their music loving friends who may not live near a city – with the band revisiting some old regional favourites as well as some new towns they’ve never played before, including Bundaberg.

Moncrieff Entertainment Centre Manager Arts and Culture Rod Ainsworth said The Rubens May performance will be one not to miss.

“We are ecstatic The Rubens have included Bundaberg in their tour and can't wait to host their Live in Life show at the Moncrieff,” he said.

“The Rubens have a huge following and have enjoyed a successful music career since their inception in 2011, we know many fans will be delighted to see them perform in the region.

“This show is one of many big music performances lined up at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre for 2020.”
