Ohana Winery and Cheeky Tiki Cider is handing the creative licence back to the public to decide on the next flavour of cider – The People’s Cider.
This annual opportunity is part of the Taste Bundaberg Festival in which you can nominate a flavour and vote for the winner.
With the free event launch on Saturday 12 June, nominations for flavours will close on Monday 26 April.
Ohana Winery and Cheeky Tiki Cider co-owner, Zoe Young, explained that there have already been many flavour nominations, with the Taste Bundaberg Festival a fantastic showcase of the region’s produce.
“We have had over 60 flavour nominations so far, which we need to narrow down to three ahead of voting,” she said.
“We love being part of this fantastic event that showcases everything that the region has to offer.”
Head to Ohana Winery and Cheeky Tiki Cider Facebook page to nominate your flavour.
Currently, Ohana Winery and Tiki Cider have four local flavours in their range including passionfruit, pineapple, strawberry, and lemon.
Ohana Winery and Cheeky Tiki Cider is located at 5 Alexandra Street, Bundaberg East, and is open for tastings six days per week. Its ciders are also available at Dan Murphy’s Bundaberg.
