As part of our ongoing maintenance, the works involve servicing the bridge and replacing girder restraint anchors to ensure the bridge remains safe and operational.

During these works, Tallon Bridge will be reduced to single-lane operation at night.

Works will be carried out from 1 November 2021 and will take about five weeks to complete, conditions permitting.

Works will generally be undertaken from 8pm to 5am, Sunday to Friday.

Signage will be in place to assist motorists with the changed conditions.

Road users should allow additional time for their journey if travelling during these times. We thank motorists for their patience and cooperation while the works are underway.
