Paradise Markets has joined forces with Nardoo Nursery to provide the community with a unique, local shopping experience while supporting Community Lifestyle Support.

Previously located on Hughes Road in Bargara, the markets will move to the CLS location on Ashfield Road from this Saturday and will feature a range of local stalls right beside the offering of plants from Nardoo Nursery.

The markets will continue at the location every second Saturday.

Anne Davies from Nardoo Nursery said the opportunity to host the markets provided the chance to support people with a disability further.

“The markets are helping to support Nardoo Nursery, with profits from this enterprise going towards supporting people with a disability,” Anne said.

“As Paradise Markets were looking for a site that was supportive, had safer parking and easy access we were able to provide a location that suited their needs.

“The markets will be set on six acres of landscaped gardens with plenty of shady trees to sit under, a large carpark and dogs are also welcome to attend on leash.

“The entire space is also wheelchair accessible.”

Anne said there would be many stallholders returning to the markets this Saturday, with a range of products on display.

“There will be live music, food and drinks, arts and crafts, bric-a-brac and there is Nardoo Nursery on site as well,” she said.

“There is plenty of off-road parking, fresh air and all the familiar friendly faces you know.”
