Australian entertainer Rhonda Burchmore takes centre stage in the latest Moncrieff Entertainment Centre program, which has just been released at the Moncrieff box office.
The April to May program features a number of well-known acts, including Rhonda, YouTube sensation Nats What I reckon and a performance from Opera Queensland.
The program kicks off with three Australian entertainment legends in Normie Rowe, Dinah Lee and Jade Hurley in Three Legends in Concert.
Mornings at the Moncrieff shows still feature within the program, paying tribute to ‘Our Glad’ with a special event to celebrate the 130th Birthday of Gladys Moncrieff, which will feature some very familiar Bundaberg performers.
Council’s Arts, Culture and Events portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said the program featured a wide range of shows, ensuring there was something for everyone.
“The team at the Moncrieff have done a fantastic job of securing shows for this season that will be of interest to a wide range of audiences,” Cr Learmonth said.
“With everything from Opera Queensland to a Mornings at the Moncrieff celebrating Gladys and even a performance from YouTube sensation Nats, there is sure to be something for everyone.
“World class performers such as Rhonda Burchmore visiting the region also provides a great opportunity for the Bundaberg community to get out and support the live entertainment industry while enjoying a fantastic event.”
The free community movie program continues, with Peter Rabbit 2 during the school holidays and the Australian film Unsound.
Local artists will also be showcasing their works in the foyer exhibitions, with pieces from Vanessa Allegra and John Leyland on display.
