- The collection is not indexed (ie, cannot be searched by keyword) which means a date, or approximate date, is essential.
- There is not a complete archive of every issue of every local paper. Some dates, months, years, within the collection may be absent. Where known the dates that are missing have been noted here.
- These are the exact same copies as held by the State Library of Queensland and the National Library of Australia.
- Printing is available at cost.
