If you are looking to lend a helping hand this Christmas then why not support a family in need through Edon Place’s Adopt a Family initiative.
Every year the generous community steps up to support families by donating presents and helping to deliver some festive cheer to those who need it most.
Edon Place reaches out to the community and requests assistance to support vulnerable families experiencing domestic and family violence, homelessness, and other financial stresses.
The Adopt a Family campaign provides vulnerable families with a hamper of non-perishable foods and Christmas gifts.
Edon Place’s Child and Family Community Engagement Coordinator Jenae said 2022 had been another tough year for community, making Christmas time even more stressful.
“Christmas is especially stressful financially for any family, but more so for those experiencing hardship,” Jenae said.
“If you are interested in adopting a family through your organisation, business or personally we request that you contact Edon Place on 41536820.
“You will be greeted by a staff member who will provide you with a family composition, with the ages and genders of the family.
“Your hamper can be delivered to the Edon Place Crofton Street office where it will be distributed to the family.
“Edon Place received a wonderful response from the community in 2021 and we look forward to being able to provide this amazing opportunity again.”
