Pack a picnic, gather family and friends, and take in the warm summer evening and Christmas spirit as Saint Stella Presents host Carols by the Foreshore tomorrow.

After the huge success of its first Christmas concert, Noel, Saint Stella Presents will celebrate the festive season with a spontaneous pop-up Carols by the Foreshore.

The free community event will support local charity Angels Community Group and help give less fortunate community members a brighter Christmas and new year, while bringing together friends and families just before Christmas.

Saint Stella Presents’ Hannah Jacobs and Suellen Cusack-Greensill said they were delighted by the response from the community for the first concert, Noel, and they looked forwarded to seeing everyone again in Bargara.

“Following the success and overwhelming response from our Noel Christmas concert at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre last weekend, and in the spirit of Christmas and giving back to our community, we are excited to hold a pop-up carols at Bargara Foreshore Streetscape, Friday 23 December at 6 pm to help raise funds for Angels Community Group,” Hannah said.

“We can’t think of a better way to spend Christmas Eve eve than singing Christmas carols to support a charity that works so hard to provide for those in need, not just at Christmas but all through the year.

“Featuring two of our soloist performers from Noel, Suellen Cusack-Greensill and Jessica Savage, and proudly supported by The Lawn Lab, Green Solutions Wide Bay, and Greensill Farming – the singers' family businesses.”

Hannah said the pop-up Carols had already gathered a lot of interest from the community and the Saint Stella Presents team were looking forward to the event.

“This is a free event to attend. Our singers and production crew are all volunteering their talents and time to put this pop-up event together,” she said.

“We will be accepting donations for Angels Community Group on the night if you would like to contribute.

“We hope you will join us for a casual, family friendly, festive evening.”
