Community members don’t want to miss out, or hear it through the grapevine late, as Creedence Clearwater Collective entertains the crowd in Bundaberg.
Taking to the stage of the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre the collective will celebrate music of the ’60s and ’70s with a Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) party.
Creedence Clearwater Revival's first album debuted in 1968 with its last album in 1972 – the band was a juggernaut of phenomenal proportions.
No other band has created such an impact in such a short time, and the Creedence Clearwater Collective will give a performance of lasting memories.
Now the Bundaberg community will have the chance to take in ambience from more than half a century ago, as locals enjoy the performance from a six-piece tribute band.
“The Creedence Clearwater Collective celebrates CCR by acting as hosts of a Creedence Clearwater Revival party, as we walk through the life and music of one of the world's most iconic acts,” a spokesperson said.
“Bringing to the stage a six-piece band with a piano player and saxophonist, and a vocalist that emulates John Fogerty’s distinct vocals – all to capture the unique CCR sound.
“The collective encourages the audience to leave the world behind for two hours and join in the fun of singing along and howling at the moon, Aaaaaooooooo!
“You do not want to hear through the grapevine that you missed out on this hit-packed production.”
Creedence Clearwater Collective will perform at Moncrieff Entertainment Centre on Saturday 25 February, tickets are selling fast and are available here.
