Bonnets will sparkle and the chrome will shine as enthusiasts gather to show off their pride and joy in the All Holden Car Show, hosted by the Bundaberg Early Holden Club.

The annual event is set to attract almost 100 Holdens of every make and model from around the Bundaberg Region.

Bundaberg Early Holden Club social director John Agosta said he was looking forward to another superb event.

He said there would be a great range of vehicles on display.

“One of the highlights this year is that we will be featuring one of each model Holden starting with the FX and FJ series,” John said.

“The first Holdens were the FX and the last that were made and sold here in Australia were the ZF Commodores, we will have both on display.

“The All Holden Car Show is going to give the community a chance to see how Holden cars have evolved and changed over the years.”

John said the All Holden Car Show had been held in Bundaberg since the mid-1980s with dedicated car enthusiasts and their families enjoying the day out.

The All Holden Car Show attracts all types of Holdens, from highly modified vehicles to others in original mint condition.

“I’m sure we are going to see some amazing cars,” John said.

“I think we have a car culture here in Bundaberg because a lot of people have migrated to the area later in life and they are the ones who grew up with a family car and they understood its importance.

“Now those people, like me, have the opportunity to own cars like that, and I guess we all cherish them.”

He said the annual event was an opportunity for not only Holden owners to show off their cars, but vehicles of all makes and models were welcome to be displayed.

“This is really a day out for everybody,” he said.

“Anyone can put their car on display while they enjoy their time looking at what others have.

“It’s open to display all cars and motorbikes with entry open right up until the day too.

“We just want people to enjoy the day and the display.”
