Nelson waiting to find a family

Nelson family
Nelson has a sweet temperament and is looking for a family to call his own.

Nelson is an Australian cattle dog mix waiting to meet his new family at RSPCA Bundaberg.

He ended up at the shelter after being found as a stray.

The RSPCA Bundaberg team says he has a sweet, affectionate nature although he can be a little bit shy.

At just six months old, Nelson needs a family who will take things slowly with him and build up his confidence.

He is a working breed mix and will thrive on regular exercise for his body and brain.

Nelson already loves ball games and will happily bring the ball back for another throw.

These kinds of dog breeds need to be busy and Nelson will benefit from daily walks, play time, training sessions and games.

So far he has enjoyed the company of other dogs at the shelter and would love to meet any potential canine companions to see how they get along prior to adoption.

Nelson’s adoption fee of $450 includes a free 4kg bag of Royal Canine dry dog food.

If you think he would be the right fit for your family, fill out an adoption form here.
