Green Solutions Wide Bay is changing colour for the #Pinktober campaign this month in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The initiative aims to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and research, bringing attention to the importance of early detection and support for those affected by breast cancer.
Throughout the month of October, Green Solutions Wide Bay will be running a special fundraising campaign where locals can donate $5 and receive a limited-edition pink Green Solutions cap as a token of appreciation for their contribution towards this crucial cause.
In a striking display of solidarity, the Green Solutions Wide Bay facility has been sprinkled in pink with the CAT equipment on site covered with pink ribbons to symbolise its commitment to breast cancer awareness.
Green Solutions Wide Bay general manager Nathan Freeman said the campaign was inspiring.
“At Green Solutions, we have a strong connection to our community,” he said.
“As breast cancer touches the lives of so many, both women and men, we wanted to get behind #Pinktober and do our part in raising awareness and contributing to the fight against this disease.”
By making a donation and proudly wearing the limited-edition pink cap, locals can show their support for breast cancer awareness and help raise funds for The National Breast Cancer Foundation to continue providing critical research and services.
