Australia’s legendary musical treasure, Marcia Hines will delight and thrill fans with her Still Shining Concert touring to the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre.

With a career spanning five amazing decades, Marcia has released 22 albums, sold 2.6 million copies, and garnered countless chart-topping singles and multi-platinum records globally.

Recently known as the favourite judge on Australian Idol, Marcia is currently touring Australia in the hit stage production of Grease the Musical, and she will grace the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre stage in October.

Marcia said she was excited to return to the Bundaberg Region after she had visited many times in the past.

“My lead guitarist Ross East was from here, so it was always enjoyable to go back to his hometown and see the town through his eyes,” she said.

She will perform her hits commencing with ‘Fire and Rain', then delve into her discotheque era, and on to ‘The Gospel According to Marcia' and her recent ‘Still Shining’ greatest hits album.

Marcia said her show shouldn’t be missed as she encouraged everyone to let their hair down and party at the end of the week.

“I’m extremely excited and looking forward to reconnecting with my fans and getting out to regional areas again, it’s been a while,” Marcia said.

“The basics of the show will not change, we’ll be doing all the hits that fans are wanting to hear.

“There is a Q and A with the audience happening every night that changes the whole dynamic and is great fun.

Inspiring women and Australians everywhere, Marcia received an Order of Australia (AM) in 2009 and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007.

The Still Shining Concert will celebrate Marcia’s journey, the highs, the lows, and the extraordinary relationship she has with Australian audiences.

The two-and-a-half-hour musical showcase features every charting song from her vast repertoire.
