The audience will get into the rhythm with the high-energy of the Johnny Cash and June Carter tribute show, touring to the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre in June.
The Get Rhythm – The Johnny Cash and June Carter Show is led by real life married couple Mark and Joanne Caligiuri.
Mark and Joanne have spent 15 years creating and developing their uplifting and energising show.
The authentic tribute showcases their close resemblance, costumes and vocals featuring the distinctive sound that was unique to Johnny Cash and June Carter.
Joanne said they were often told how much people loved their story telling as they covered different parts of Johnny and June's life.
“We have worked very hard on creating this show to be as close to Johnny Cash and June Carter as possible,” Joanne said.
“We both have acting and singing backgrounds and use this in our performance, and are both Johnny and June fans, so we make sure we deliver a respectable show in their honour.
“Our show is high energy, exciting and at times funny and always fun!”
Together with their real-life family band, Mark and Joanne take the audience on a journey back in time, celebrating all the hits fans know and love.
Folsom Prison Blues, Walk the Line, Ring of Fire and famous duets Jackson and Long-Legged Guitar Pickin' Man will be highlights of the show.
