International dance sensation Burn the Floor will light up the stage at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre on 21 August as they bring their latest national tour to Bundaberg.
Performing alongside the talented cast of dancers will be globally renowned star and special guest vocalist Phil Burton of supergroup Human Nature.
This year’s tour title is ‘Dare to Dream’ which reflects each dancer’s mantra as they push the extremes to bring their rebellious energy to the stage.
Director Peta Roberts said they set a very high bar for Burn the Floor performances.
“I look to cross the emotional boundary, for our dancers to find the courage to fearlessly expose and share their personal life values from the very highest or deepest points of their soul,” Peta said.
“In our decades of touring, we have created the recipe to reveal brand new levels of passion and energy that redefine our art form.”
The ‘Dare to Dream’ tour also celebrates the 25th anniversary of Burn the Floor, renowned for breathing new life into traditional dances like the Viennese Waltz and Foxtrot as well as capturing the energy and passion of the Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba and Jive.
The show is described as a high-voltage theatrical dance experience with jaw-dropping choreography, heart-pounding music and breath-taking moves.
Audiences will also enjoy great Aussie rock classics including INXS, John Farnham, Cold Chisel, Sia, AC/DC, Keith Urban and of course Human Nature.
The talented ensemble of dancers features Alberto Faccio, Jorja Rae Freeman, Gustavo Viglio, Sophie Halloway, Robbie Kmetoni, Jackie Chambers, Jemma Armstrong, Julian Caillon, Lily Cornish, Lyu Masuda and Anais Riera.
