There will be plenty of information available when the RDE – Regional Disability Expo, along with bonus Seniors Expo, is held in Bundaberg this month.
This event is a lifeline for people living with disabilities in regional areas, seniors, and their dedicated caregivers who often face challenges in accessing resources and support services available in larger cities.
The main issue here is a lack of awareness about local services, leaving these individuals with no choice but to travel long distances to metropolitan areas.
But did you know that there are more resources available than many realise?
Event organiser Sharon Fulwood believes it is just a matter of knowing where to find them.
“We have an informative day planned,” she said.
“The expo will feature a wide array of services and suppliers catering to the disability and aged care sectors, including wheelchairs, supported living aids, NDIS services and health services for individuals of all ages.”
Let’s Talk Events (LTE) is a specialised event management company dedicated to organising events like this one to bring people together, eliminate barriers and provide essential services, products and support options to individuals with disabilities, seniors, their families, caregivers and friends.
“Don’t miss this opportunity to discover the wealth of resources available to you and your loved ones,” Sharon said.
“Join us at the RDE – Regional Disability Expo with Bonus Seniors Expo 28 March at the PCYC, 45 Burrum St, Bundaberg West.
“We look forward to seeing you there!”
