Tuesday 25.03.2025: Ladies Day.
Social paddle pop triples with an exciting game in the Open Ladies Pairs Competition.
The Ladies Competition was a cracker of a game, played between Meredith Taylor and Rhonda Byrnes against Robyn Bishop and Lorelle Mattson.
Unfortunately Meredith had to retire due to illness at the back end of the game.
Karen Henderson stepped in to complete the game.
The score stood at 18 all going into the last end when Karen took the last shot to secure the win.

Wednesday26.03.2025: Mens Day:
Unfortunately our men’s games were washed out today, but not to worry the action took place in Bundaberg where three of our Ladies Pairs teams played in the District Pairs Competition and did us proud.
Sylvia Mollison and Donna Smith came in second place.
Fiona Dowling and Jane Herd-Evans came in fourth place.
Jacquie Rogerson and Judi Barrett came in fifth place.
What a great result from our Woodgate Ladies, congratulations to all!
Unfortunately that was the end of bowls at Woodgate for the week as we have had rain of Biblical proportions and both greens have been wet, soggy and unplayable!
Hopefully we will return to normal next week!

WIDE BAY BOWLS CLASSIC (WBBC)
Round 4 Results: the Round 4 Game Vs Urangan game was postponed and will now be played on the spare weekend (Saturday 12th April).
Round 5 will be played this weekend with Burnett playing Bargara at Burnett.
Selected teams will be placed on the Club Noticeboard Tuesday.

CLUB NEWS
Club opening hours are – Monday (Club closed), Tuesday 10am – 5.30pm, Wednesday 11am – 9pm, Thursday 2pm – 9pm, Friday 10am – 9pm, Saturday 10am – 6pm (10pm for Functions) Sunday Bowls Days 9am – 2pm.
Friday 4th April – the Goose Club raffle will be drawn at 7.00pm – tickets are $1 each with 15+ prizes to be won.
Tickets can be purchased from the bar or bought on the night.
The members draw will be conducted after the Goose Club draw – members must be present at the draw to claim the cash.
Live entertainment on Friday evening will be provided by ‘The Other Bloke’.
So come down to the Club for a great night out with the chance to win some cash and raffle prizes.
The Bistro will be operating on a full menu, so come along and try something from the new menu.
