Pick up something special for Mother’s Day, or a treat for yourself, at the Twilight Artisan Market, on Friday 9 May.
Returning to Gallery Park next to Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery, the markets will feature unique gifts and collectible crafts from local makers around the region.
Stroll under lantern lights and enjoy music provided by local musicians Stella Hutchins and Isaac Maher throughout the evening.
Bundaberg Regional Council’s Arts and Heritage portfolio spokesperson Councillor John Learmonth said the markets were a great opportunity to support local creatives.
“Featuring an array of handcrafted products, one-of-a-kind artworks and beautiful goods, the markets showcase the best the region has to offer,” Cr Learmonth said.
“Shoppers can pick up a unique gift and meet the person who made it, providing a wonderful way to connect with our creative community.”
Against the background of an autumn sunset, market goers can browse the stalls in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery will be open until 7 pm on the night, allowing audiences a chance to enjoy the gallery after dark.
Visitors can see the latest exhibitions on show, including Big Sculpture Showcase and contribute to the interactive installation, I Know a Place.
