Jobseekers, students and interested community members are encouraged to explore their career options at Bundaberg Careers Expo in May.

The free event will be held at Bundaberg Multiplex on Wednesday 7 May from 9 am.

Over 80 exhibitors from across the Bundaberg Region will showcase a range of education, training and employment opportunities.

Bundaberg Region Mayor Helen Blackburn said the event was expected to attract a large number of attendees and exhibitors.

“Bundaberg Careers Expo is a great networking opportunity for those exploring their career pathways,” Mayor Blackburn said.

“Learn more about training and education options that will help get you qualified and ready for employment or a career change.

“Jobseekers and students can talk directly with prospective employers to discover what they look for in candidates.”

Mayor Blackburn said the Careers Expo would also benefit community members who weren’t actively seeking a new job.

“The event presents valuable professional development opportunities for people already working in their chosen field, as well as career advisors and educators.”

The 2025 Bundaberg Careers Expo is an annual event hosted by Bundaberg Regional Council, Link and Launch, Department of Education, and Jobs Bundaberg, a Regional Jobs Committee.

Bundaberg Careers Expo is sponsored by St Luke’s Anglican School, Shalom College, CQUniversity, Workforce Australia and yourtown.

  1. The best thing to do would be to get all the shop spaces filled again. Retail could have another few thousand jobs if we tried to fill the empty shop spaces with businesses.

Stop buying things on the internet go back to shopping in person with cash. It makes more jobs locally…
