Bundaberg Tourism has been invited to join the Australian Tourism Export Council’s South Queensland Leadership Group, with Trade and Industry Development Executive Loni Hammond to be the voice of the region and local dedicated tourism operators.

The first Link Airways flight from Brisbane touched down in Bundaberg this afternoon as the company expands its network throughout Queensland.

Tourism operators in the Bundaberg Region are on show as part of a Seize the Days campaign offering up tempting holiday deals and opportunities to share in Queensland’s great lifestyle, and support more secure jobs.

Featuring an underwater observatory, main deck and upper deck in a perfect location at Lady Musgrave Island, an old pontoon is currently being revitalised to become a classroom on the reef.

Local businesses looking to begin or improve on their sustainability journey are being encouraged to sign up to the next Ecotourism Australia Certification Workshop, to be held on Thursday 1 December.

Tickets to Turtle Encounter Tours at Mon Repos officially go on sale today, with demand expected to generate bumper tourism for Bundaberg businesses.
