With a range of activities on offer for all ages, Sharon Millett from the Gin Gin Library gives a rundown of what you can expect on your next visit.
Story Time
To keep the kids entertained, Story Time incorporates craft, hands-on activities and of course, stories for preschool children (0 – 5 years) and their parent/carer.
When: First and third Monday and second Thursday of each month (excluding school holidays)
Time: 9.30 am
Term 1 dates: 4, 14, 18 February, 4, 14, 18 March, 1 April
Kids’ Book Club
New in 2019 due to popular demand! After the success of the Summer Reading Club residents can now be a part of their All Year Reading Club! Share your favourite books, learn about the authors and participate in fun activities.
When: First Thursday of each month
Time: 3 pm – 4 pm (excluding school holidays)
Term 1 dates: 7 February, 7 March
Connections
As a social group for young adults, Connections is an ongoing event full of exciting ice-breaker games and different activities.
When: Third Wednesday of each month
Time: 10 am – 11.30 am
Term 1 dates: 20 February, 20 March
Book Club
For the adults needing a moment of peace and quiet, book club may be for you! Hosted by a library member, patrons meet on a regular basis to read and discuss the chosen book. Contact the library to see how you can join.
When: One Thursday each month (decided at each meeting)

Live Local and Learn
The Live Local and Learn program provides a great platform to showcase local individuals and community groups often suitable for all ages. Residents interested in hosting a session can contact the library for further details.
When: Fourth Thursday of each month
Time: 4.30 pm – 5.30 pm (subject to change, bookings preferred)
Coming up: 21 February – Gordon Whitby presents a session about the benefits of worms in your garden, 21 March – Gin Gin Multicultural Group share games and activities which promoting cultural diversity.
