Shady the pup is looking for a loving home

Shady pup
Shady the pup is available for adoption at Red Collar Rescue.

Shady is a big pup who loves to be with active people and right now, he is available for adoption at Red Collar Rescue.

Recently being fostered on a farm, he showed that he is great with livestock and other dogs.

However the chickens were just a step too close to temptation!

So if you have a few chooks, they will need to be kept separate.

He is highly intelligent, and willing to learn, so if you're willing to put in the time and effort, he will reward you beyond imagining.

Breed: large male border collie x bull arab

Age: 8 months

About Red Collar Rescue

Red Collar Rescue Inc. was established in 2009 and became a registered organisation in late 2010 with the primary aim of providing temporary refuge and eventually new homes for abandoned, abused, unwanted and death row dogs.

The independent, non-profit, non-government funded organisation is run primarily by Sharyn and Russell Banks.

All dogs coming to Red Collar Rescue are vet checked, vaccinated, wormed and desexed prior to being made available for sale to the public.

Prices range from $200 upwards for dog adoption.

The refuge is managed by an unpaid, elected committee, with all funds coming from fundraising and donations.

The refuge operates from a 160 acre property at Woowoonga, near Biggenden.
