Funding awarded to Bundaberg 4WD Club

The Bundaberg 4WD Club Inc was recently awarded funding through the Active Clubs program.

Bundaberg 4WD Club recently obtained funding for physical activity equipment and/or training through the Active Clubs program.

The club was one of 42 in the Bundaberg electorate successful in gaining $2000 from this round.

Correspondence from Sports Minister Mick de Brenni outlined the items for which the funding had been approved and we will be putting the grant towards high-vis vests and broad-brimmed hats that club members will be able to use on various activities.

These activities include Clean Up Australia Day, the Fraser Island Clean-up and the 4WD QLD Corroboree, which we hope to be hosting at Mount Perry later in the year.

This equipment allows us to be safe and sun smart while carrying out club activities and highlights our positive contribution to the local community with our commitment to creating a more active Bundaberg.

We thank Bundaberg MP David Batt for delivering the good news and the donation of a Queensland State flag, which we will fly at our club’s camp and training grounds.
