The historic Kennedy Bridge in Bundaberg will be closed on Sunday, 14 June for its annual routine inspection and maintenance work.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises the bridge will be closed with signed detours in place to assist motorist and pedestrians.
Detours for motorists will be via Walla Street, George Street and Princess Street.
Pedestrian access will be via the Quay Street pedestrian walkway next to The Rowers Club.
Road users should allow additional time for their journey while the closure is in place.
