AFL: Bay Power will chase back-to-back AFL Wide Bay Senior flags in the grand final this Saturday after returning to form to turn the tables on cross-town rivals Hervey Bay Bombers 9.10 (64) to 3.6 (24) in the semi-finals on the weekend.

They will be hosted by minor premiers Across The Waves at Frank Coulthard Oval, with the Eagles to be represented in the deciders of all three divisions after their Reserves recovered from a half-time deficit to edge out the Power 6.8 (44) to 5.6 (36) and their Colts also defused the Power 12.9 (81) to 1.4 (10).

RUGBY LEAGUE: In Bundaberg Junior Rugby League, confirmed under-18 minor premiers Wests Panthers powered on to maul hosts Waves Tigers 35-6 in their penultimate round showdown.

FOOTBALL: In Football Bundaberg, Bingera took another step towards the Wide Bay Premier League championship with a 2-0 victory over a brave United Park Eagles (UPE), while second and third placed teams Across The Waves and Brothers-Aston Villa respectively were each also successful, and in the Ladies League, UPE Black kept their hopes alive by beating Bingera Cutters 3-1.
