If you take a Selfie with Elfie in Gin Gin, Childers or Bundaberg during the 12 Days of Christmas you could win a $50 voucher from a local store.
Three cheeky elves have taken a break from their shelves to make mischief at businesses across the Bundaberg Region.
They will be disguised in shop windows every day between December 1 and 12 and they’ll be leaving clues online to help residents track them down.
One $50 voucher is up for grabs in all three locations each day with a total of $150 up for grabs daily.
Mayor Jack Dempsey said the 12 Days of Christmas event was a great excuse to spend some time in your local CBD.
“Businesses across the region have already put together some great Christmas displays so this is just another excuse to take a wander through the CBD,” Mayor Dempsey said.
“There’s no doubt it’s been a tough year for one and all so there’s never been a better time to think about shopping locally.
“The more we as a community can support our local businesses the quicker our region will rebound from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Keep an eye out for Elfie while you’re browsing for your Christmas shopping and go in the draw to win a little present for yourself!”
Each day clues to Elfie’s whereabouts will be posted to Facebook.
If you manage to spot him, take a selfie and post it to the relevant Facebook page on the same day to go in the draw to win.
