Choco the kelpie has forgotten he is no longer a puppy, so he is looking for a home that exudes as much energy as he does.
Not content with sitting around just soaking in the world around him, Choco would love a new family to keep him company as he discovers the wonders of life.
His RSPCA carers said there would surely be plenty of fun in the future for the people who adopt this full-of-energy young dog.
“This bouncy boy may be almost four years old, but the Kelpie in him keeps that puppy-flame alive,” RSPCA Bundaberg said.
Kelpies are renowned for their intelligence and energy levels, Choco is no exception, so he would love to go to a home that offers him the stimulation he needs.
It would not just be a case of a bit of exercise every day for the amazing Choco the kelpie.
“He’s a smart cookie looking for more than long walks on the beach,” RSPCA Bundaberg said.
“Choco is after an owner who understands the true meaning of the word enrichment.
“More than go-slow bowls, Choco wants to be involved in the fun.”
Choco is part kelpie and will need a family home with secure fencing to keep his curiosity about the outside world contained.
“Due to his kangaroo-like legs Choco will require some high, secure fencing to keep him safe,” RSPCA Bundaberg said.
He is friendly and sociable too, making he a perfect companion for another dog who is looking for some 24-7 company.
The amazing Choco the kelpie can be adopted from RSPCA Bundaberg for $350.
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchipping, worming, flea treatment, and a start on his vaccination schedule.
