Bond. James Bond will be the theme of the night when the Friendly Society Hospital Charity Gala Ball kicks off at the end of the month.
The Bundaberg Multiplex will transform into Casino Royale with a dinner, live music and casino games featured as part of the Friendlies Hospital Foundation fundraiser.
Guests will receive complimentary casino chips to try the fun on offer with opportunities to participate in a raffle draw as well as a major draw for a chance to win a new release 2021 Toyota Kluger or $10,000 cash.
Friendlies Hospital Foundation Coordinator Maria Ebert said the event would be held on Saturday, 31 July with a huge range of great prizes up for grabs.
“It is a thrill to see events starting to resume again and the vibe is of happiness and appreciation that we can all get out and enjoy ourselves,” she said.
“It also gives us a chance to pull together as a community to help others.”
Friendly Society Hospital has approved plans to develop the land adjacent to the hospital into a 16 interconnecting unit complex to provide accommodation to families and professionals who need ease of access to the hospital.
Maria said the purpose of the event was to raise funds to commence construction of their Hospital Accommodation Project.
“We have a large target of fundraising to provide accommodation solutions for families accessing treatment and student medical professionals attending our facility,” she said.

The Friendlies Hospital Foundation is an independently registered local charity that exists to support the growth and development of the Friendly Society Private Hospital, which is also a non-profit organisation.
Keeping families together when most needed is a primary focus underpinning the current fundraising goals.
