COMPETITION
Pennant Results for Round 5 – Division 1: Burnett def ATW 53-50 winning 1.5 rinks. Division 2: Bargara def Burnett 84-50 on 3 rinks and Division 4: Bargara def Burnett 40-30 with 1 rink win. Congratulations to the Division 1 team for topping the table and they now go straight into the Final which will be played on Saturday the 11th of September. Well done!

Tuesday 31st August: Open Pairs $200 Guaranteed Prizemoney – 1pm start. Names before 12.00pm. Green fees paid by 12.45pm.
Wednesday night 1st September: Scroungers – 6.30pm start, names before 6.00pm. This is a fun game of singles similar to consistency singles, played in groups of 3 or 4 per rink over 12 ends. Green fees are $5, and 50 percent of green fees will be returned as prizemoney. Everyone welcome.
Thursday night 2nd September: 6.30pm Bowl under lights and enjoy a fun filled night with a chance at the “Pick the Joker Jackpot” which will be $211+ this week. Visitors and those who want to try bowls for the first time will be made very welcome. Names before 6.00pm, start at 6.30pm.
Friday 3rd September: Open Pairs – $200 Guaranteed Prizemoney. 1.00pm start – Names before 12.00pm. Green fees paid by 12.45pm. Jackpot will be $220.
Saturday 4th September: Pennant Playoffs for Divisions 1,2 & 3 will be played at Burnett. Burnett Division 4 will play their final round game at Burnett. There will be some rinks available for social play – names on the sheet at the club.

CLUB NEWS
Dinner@theBurnett – Bistro nights are Wednesday 6pm – 8pm, Thursday 5.30pm – 8pm & Friday 5.30pm – 8pm. Wednesday is Roast Night $15 per head. Please note that the Bistro will no longer open on Saturday nights.
