Colour Frenzy Bundaberg returns with explosion of fun

Colour Frenzy is one of regional Australia’s biggest fun runs and is open to all community members and their four-legged companions.

Queens Park will have a splash of colour as the annual fundraising Colour Frenzy Bundaberg returns to raise money for Red Collar Rescue.

Colour Frenzy is one of regional Australia’s biggest fun runs and is open to all community members and their four-legged companions.

Organising the event, Clayton Bielby said, along with the foam machines this year, there would be exciting new stations including an inflatable obstacles course.

And he said the new location would take Colour Frenzy Bundaberg to a new level of fun.

He said participants could either walk, jog, skip, hop or run with their friends and family during Colour Frenzy Bundaberg fun run, and experience the perfect combination of amusement with the colourful explosions of colour as they travel.

Bundaberg Colour Frenzy
CQU Bundaberg's Kaylah Williams, Luke Sinclair, Rebecca Ballantyne and Lewis McKee enjoy the community atmosphere at the Bundaberg Colour Frenzy 2020.

“It is a fun walk around the new location of Queens Park with five colour stations, two obstacle stations and our loved foam station,” Clayton said.

“(It’s) self-paced and just for fun, it is a great way to have a colourful morning with family and friends.”

Clayton said the annual event was in its third year, and it was always a good opportunity for the community to enjoy time with their pooches while raising money for a good cause.

“(The aim is) to raise money for Red Collar Rescue in Bundaberg and to get people outdoors having fun,” Clayton said.

“We are loving the new location at Queens Park in Bundaberg.”

Colour Frenzy Bundaberg will be held at Queens Park, Hope Street, on Sunday, 26 September at 8.30am. To register click here.
