Former Bundaberg local Brooke Graham has recently moved back to the region to open Missy & Me Hair, a luxury salon offering cocktails and nibbles during each appointment.
Brooke opened her business in Burnett Heads earlier this month and said she was thrilled to be back doing what she loved best in a place that was close to her heart.
“I grew up in Burnett Heads so it feels like home,” she said.
“I love what I do, it runs in the family.
“My great granddad was a barber and my mum is also a hairdresser – I've been playing with hair since I can remember.”
Brooke said her new salon provided a luxury service to clients, not only offering hair care but also a special experience upon arrival.
“We are offering cocktails and nibbles in a fresh, modern space to relax in,” she said.
“I think its the perfect addition to the forever-growing town.”
Brooke said she had worked as a hairdresser for many years and was excited to show new clients in the region her skills and expertise.
“I started a school based apprenticeship at the age of 14 so that's 12 years now,” she said.
“I absolutely love a big transformation…
“What I love most is seeing my clients smile at the end of the service and making others feel good!”
And while she has only just opened the doors, Brooke said she had big plans for the future of her salon.
“In the near future we will be expanding into lash extensions and beauty services,” she said.
“We are so excited to be able to provide a one-stop-shop for the community.”
Missy & Me Hair is located at 29 Zunker Street, Burnett Heads.

- Tuesday- 9am to 5.30pm
- Wednesday- 9am to 5.30pm
- Thursday- 9am to 7.30pm
- Friday- 9am to 5.30pm
- Saturday- 8am to 2pm
- Sunday- Closed
