Corey Pitt has taken on the role of General Manager for Bundaberg Broadcasters and stations Hitz93.9, 4BU and Kix FM.
Having grown up in Bundaberg and with an impressive media career across television, print and radio, he already has a strong connection to the Bundaberg region.
Corey returned in 2006 to launch the successful lifestyle publication Horizon Magazine within the Bundaberg and Fraser Coast area which was purchased by the APN group in 2007.
During his time in Bundaberg, Corey was an active member of the local business community and also held the position of vice-president with the Bundaberg Chamber of Commerce.
Corey said he's excited about returning to Bundy.
“I have many fond memories of growing up in Bundaberg and look forward to catching up with old mates and colleagues as well as meeting new friends,” he said.
“I've lived in many regional centres around Australia and have always found the Bundaberg community to be so uniquely warm and welcoming.
“I know Hitz93.9, 4BU and Kix to be strong stations respectively, and I'm looking forward to working towards their continued growth.”
