Work has started at Gorman Park playground to upgrade the Burnett Heads area with new equipment.
The project is part of Bundaberg Regional Council’s Parks Asset Renewal Program 2021 – 2022.
The upgrade has been identified to replace the existing playground which has reached the end of its useable life.
The style and type of new play equipment will cater for children aged two to 12 years old.
The upgrade will also include a new park sign.
This project is aimed at ensuring the park supports the recreational needs of the surrounding community and is in keeping with Council‘s infrastructure standards.
Work is expected to take up to two weeks to complete.
