An incredible win is set to change a Bundaberg couple's life after their spur of the moment lotto ticket purchase saw them win $868,000.
The Lott officially confirmed the win this morning from the ticket bought at Chippindalls Newsagency in Bourbong Street.
The Queenslanders were among six division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4267, drawn Saturday 11 June 2022.
Each winning entry scored a division one prize of $868,291.68.
“We’re loving every second now that I know we’ve won,” they said.
“You have no idea how much good this will do.
“We’re just so thankful.
“First thing is first; we’ll help out our family and we can’t wait to see the looks on their faces.
“Then who knows, a new home, a nice car, maybe even a fast motorbike!
“There’s been a lot of smiles and laughter around the house since Saturday night.
“We can’t believe it!
“Thank you so much!”
The couple’s winning 36-game QuickPick was purchased at Chippindalls Newsagency, 116 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg.
Chippindalls Newsagency Manager Amanda Zunker said she was overjoyed to have sold a division one winning entry.
“It’s actually unbelievable. We’re so excited!” she proclaimed.
“Our last division one winner was about five years ago so it’s been a long time coming.
“We’ve been letting our customers know about the win and it’s created a real buzz around the store.
“Congratulations to the incredible winners, have fun and really enjoy the moment!”
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4267 on 11 June 2022 were 39, 45, 21, 11, 10, 19, while the supplementary numbers were 25 and 35.
