PENNANT RESULTS
Division 1 def Moore Park 82-38 (3 rinks), Division 2 def Woodgate 58-51 (1 rink), Division 3 lost to Moore Park 59-64 (1 rink), Division 4 def Bargara 44-39 (1 rink) and Division 5 lost to Bargara 26-48 (I rink drawn). Tuesday 23rd August: $300 Open Triples (Men’s, Ladies, Mixed) Names in by 12pm, green fees paid by 12.45pm for a 1 pm start. The 1 bowl Jackpot is currently $150.
Wednesday 24th August: ‘Scroungers’ Singles – this is a fun game of Singles similar to consistency singles where points are allocated to the 4 closest bowls to the jack. Games are played over 12 ends with no driving allowed. Names in by 6.15pm with games starting at 6.30pm. green fees are $8 with 50 percent of the green fees being returned as prizemoney. All ability levels welcome so come along for a fun night out.
Thursday 25th August: ‘Thirsty Thursday’ Open Pairs. 3pm start, names by 2.30pm. Free drink (Sponsored) included in green fees. Games will finish at 5pm with two random lucky draws as prizes.
Thursday 25th August: Night Bowls – bowls starts at 6.30pm, names in by 6pm. Bowl under lights and enjoy a fun filled night with a chance at the ‘Pick the Joker’ Jackpot which is currently $553+. Visitors and those that want to try bowls for the first time will be made feel very welcome.

Sunday 28th August: Pennant ‘Catch Up’ games. Division 1 and Division 4 will be playing their Round 2 catch up games. Div 1 start at 10am and Div 2 will start at 9am.

CLUB NEWS
Club opening hours are – Monday (Club closed), Tuesday 10am – 5.30pm, Wednesday 10am – 9pm, Thursday 11am – 9pm, Friday 10am – 9pm, Saturday 10am – 6pm (10pm for Functions) Sunday Bowls Days 9am – 2pm.
The Goose Club raffle will be drawn on Friday night at 7pm. The Member’s Draw is now at $150, so come along, have a meal and a few drinks with the chance to win some great cash and prizes.
Live entertainment for this Friday night the 26th August will be Old Habits and the following Friday the 2nd September, live music will be delivered by ‘The Other Bloke’. Members, Guests, and Visitors are always welcome.
