The Sugarland Tavern Car Show is on tomorrow.

The Sugarland Tavern carpark is set to be transformed tomorrow for the Sugarland Car Show, with engines revving to raise money for the Black Dog Institute.

Kicking off from 9 am, the event will see a number of businesses showcasing what they have on offer, including Full Throttle bike stunts performing tricks and local BDS Dyno running to measure the performance of owners willing to push their cars to the limit.

It is a gold coin donation for spectators, with entrants paying $10 cash at the gate to enter, and Dyno entrants paying $50 cash.

Pre-nomination forms can be found in the TAB area at the tavern before judging commences from 10 am.

Event organiser Jye Whitney said the event was open to everyone, with it giving those who have spent a lot of time and effort on their cars the chance to show them off to the public.

“Bundaberg is home to a lot of car enthusiasts, from the high end performance cars to the out-of-this world builds,” Jye said.

“The time and effort people put into these vehicles is phenomenal.

“That is the sort of passion I want people to share with others.

“The show is open to all people families and all welcome.”

Jye said this year there was a vote taken to decide on the charity for the funds raised to be donated back to.

“The charity decision was this year put to a vote for the community and Black Dog Institute was a clear winner,” he said.

“Last year the charity was Cancer Council.”

Sugarland Tavern will have a barbeque and cold drinks available, with it recommended a table be booked should you wish to have lunch.
