Digitised copies of the Bundaberg General Cemetery burial registers are available to view at the Bundaberg Library.
These large ledgers, now more than 140 years old, were discovered last year by Council records staff.
Due to their fragile nature, the records were photographed rather than directly scanned to ensure their condition can be maintained.
The registers cover the period 1879 to 1995 and unveil the interesting history of the Bundaberg Region.
