Queensland Rail have advised it will be carrying out maintenance works at the Electra Street pedestrian footbridge this week
From 8 am Thursday 29 September until 6 pm Monday 3 October the footbridge will be closed.
During this time, a courtesy taxi shuttle will be available to transport pedestrians around the closure.
Pedestrians wishing to use the taxi service should speak with traffic control staff who will be onsite.
The work will involve loud, heavy machinery including the use of cranes and trucks with horns and reversing beepers.
Every effort will be made to carry out the works with respect to neighbours, however Queensland Rail apologise for any inconvenience that may occur.
Works are subject to change due to weather conditions and operational requirements.
