Queensland Government Procurement, together with partner government agencies, are conducting the 2022 Growing Queensland Business Roadshow which provides the opportunity for local businesses to find out about a range of different services.

It provides a chance to connect with representatives from local Councils and State Governments, as well as getting practical tips and information on government tendering, greening your business and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The 2022 Growing Queensland Business Roadshows provide the opportunity for government buyers and suppliers to choose their own learning adventure through an interactive drop-in style event that will:

  • provide an overview of the Buy Queensland approach
  • generate local engagement opportunities for buyers and suppliers
  • provide opportunities to uplift buyer and supplier capability and understanding, including tendering for government contracts.

QBuild, in partnership with the Department of Education, will be offering a comprehensive 45-minute session on partnering with government in the construction and maintenance of government assets, mandatory requirements and non-price criteria, and forward procurement pipelines.

Free and confidential 30-minute mentoring sessions are also available where you can talk freely with experienced Mentoring for Growth business mentors about challenges or issues you may be facing in your business and get some real-world ideas, insights and tips.

In these sessions you can discuss topics like, doing business with government, finance and cashflow, growth strategies, marketing and sales, business development and human resources.

You can also have your questions answered about infrastructure projects.

The Growing Business roadshow event will run from 9 am until 12 noon at the Bundaberg Multiplex, with registrations open online here.
