Members of the Bundaberg Four Wheel Dive Club Inc. attended first aid training recently, with Brad Praed detailing the importance of knowing what to do in an emergency situation.

The course was delivered by First Aid Response and the training was very comprehensive.

Our trainer, Darryl, was very thorough and covered off the basics required for us to carry out lifesaving procedures if the situation arose.

Training courses for our members covering many areas was a club priority.

Being competent in first aid is an important aspect so that members can carry out first aid when travelling in remote areas, or to be able to render assistance in emergencies wherever needed.

The course covered both practical and theory components, with participants getting hands on with the CPR dummies and the defibrillators.

The club is grateful for the assistance that the Queensland Government gave, with a grant being received to fund the course.

With the financial support we receive it allows more of our members to be able to participate in the life saving training.
