Elsie has plenty of energy and love to give

Elsie Bundaberg RSPCA
Elsie is available for adoption at Bundaberg RSPCA.

Elsie is one young pup with as much go-go juice as a dog can have and she is ready for adoption at Bundaberg RSPCA.

Elsie is very intelligent and highly trainable.

With part of her ancestry being greyhound, she is all about the whizz, the bounce and lots of love.

She is wiggly, wriggly and full of fun and has been friendly and sociable with other dogs at the shelter so may well be able to co-habit with another canine companion.

A meet and greet prior to adoption would be needed.

Elsie is very playful and loves a game of fetch.

She is the kind of girl who would love to be included in family activities – hiking, camping, swimming – this girl is ready for adventures.

She would prefer someone who is at home to settle her in while she gets used to a new routine.

Elsie's stats

  • Breed: Greyhound / Bull Arab (Mixed)
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: 4 months
  • Desexed: Yes

Time alone should be built up slowly but with plenty of daily exercise as well as mental enrichment, she should settle into her new life very well.

Having been abandoned as a youngster, it is important that Elsie is made to feel safe and secure – so lots of positive reinforcement training, calm reassurance and slow introductions to new people, dogs, places and experiences.

Elsie will need a home with older kids (8+yrs) due to her bouncy and lively nature.

Small kids can end up like bowling pins around an energetic young dog.

She is a very adventurous girl & we would strongly suggest that if she is to be spending time on her own that she be put in a safe enclosure such as a purpose built dog run where she can't get into trouble.

She loves pig's ears, frozen kongs, tasty treats, squeaky toys, tennis balls and people!

She is still very young and has plenty to learn but she is ready to go, go, go.

Elsie's adoption fee is $350.

She is desexed, microchipped, health checked and up-to-date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
