Celebrating five years of supporting the local music scene, the Bundy Gig Guide has planned a massive birthday bash featuring the 20 hours of live music.

The Bundy Gig Guide was established after Steven Price moved to the region and noticed a gap in sourcing information of where and when bands were playing.

“For a town of 100,000 we have an amazing number of live music gigs,” Steven said.

And so the gig guide was born, providing a one-stop-shop to find all the details of Bundaberg’s upcoming live music events, making it easy for music lovers and supporting local musicians.

Now marking five years, Bundy Gig Guide will celebrate with 20 hours of entertainment including performances by some of  the region’s most popular musicians at the Lighthouse Hotel.

Steven said one of the highlights of the event will be the set by Walker Street who haven’t played together for two years and This One Time at Band Camp whose last performance was in 2019.

The evening will finish with the energetic blues and roots sounds of Salt and Steel.

Bundy Gig Guide’s Steven Price said the birthday celebrations were the perfect opportunity for live music lovers to come along and see their favourite bands and discover new ones.

“This line up was put together to have the variety of songs from the ‘70s to the ‘90s and many original songs too,” Steven said.
