Quota Bundaberg is holding a Loud Shirt Day fundraiser on Sunday 29 October to support Hear and Say.

Hear and Say is Queensland’s specialised provider of audiology and speech pathology for all people with hearing loss.

Hear and Say operate state-wide and support people of all ages, from newborn babies, to toddlers, school age children and adults.

For regional areas such as Bundaberg, Hear and Say provides valuable support, especially for children.

Getting children with a hearing loss the support they need as early as possible gives them the best chance of minimising the long-term effects of their diagnoses to reach their full potential later in life.

Quota Bundaberg has been helping disadvantaged local women, children, hearing impaired and others for more than 30 years.

Jas Haster the publicity officer from the Quota Club of Bundaberg said they loved supporting Hear and Say through the annual Loud Shirt Day.

“This year there is a Loud Country themed fundraising lunch at The Young Australian Hotel,” Jas said.

“Wear your loudest shirt, the wilder the better with prizes for the best dressed.

“There will be a two course lunch, entertainment by The Elderley Brothers, a guest speaker and a multi prize raffle.”
