The community is invited to explore Islander culture at the next Culture Bites event hosted by the Bundaberg and District Neighbourhood Centre.
Culture Bites serves as an opportunity to celebrate different cultures in the region while showing that locals all have more in common than they might realise.
Each event creates opportunities for the attendees to learn more about a particular culture and each other while enjoying delicious food.
The upcoming Culture Bites event will be Islander themed with the centre working closely with leaders from different Islander communities including The Ol Meri Wantok Bundaberg Group.
The gathering promises to be a cultural experience with music, dance and other performances for the wider community.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a plate of food to share to allow guests to get to know their own culture as they get to know more about each other.
