Thrills at Bundaberg Show's People's Day.

The Hitz 93.9 Bundaberg Show is set to return for its 130th year from Wednesday bringing a mix of traditional favourites and new attractions to the community event.

This year's show promises to deliver a variety of entertainment and activities according to sites and entertainment coordinator Karly Gibson.

“We are thrilled to bring back the Hitz 93.9 Bundaberg Show for its 130th year,” she said.

“Our team has worked hard to ensure there is something fun for everyone.”

Among the free entertainment is the Eljay Freestyle Motocross Show, The Crack Up Sisters, Old MacDonald’s Travelling Farms, and the Hula Hoop Brisbane Stilt walking and circus workshops.

For younger attendees, Frivolous Faces will offer free face painting for children 12 years and under.

Additionally, fireworks displays are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday nights, providing a dazzling end to the day's festivities.

The event will also feature team penning competitions on Thursday and Friday, followed by the Bundaberg Regional Council Show Rodeo at 4 pm on Friday.

Horse events and show jumping will take place in the Main Arena and Bundaberg Regional Council Show Jump Arena on Wednesday and Thursday.

Thursday will also see the cattle section and woodchop in full swing, while the Endeavour Foundation Main Pavilion will open its doors to showcase a variety of exhibits and stalls.

“Sideshow Alley is packed with attractions and food options for all three days, and we have some fantastic displays lined up, including Blacksmith demonstrations, a medieval site by the SCA, and performances by the Kalkie and Kolan South S.S. Drummers,” Karly said.

Tickets for the show are available online at www.bundabergshow.com.au or can be purchased at the gate using cash or EFTPOS.

Pre-purchase ride tickets and family passes are also available from the Show Office or Auswide Bank branches until Tuesday, May 28.

“We encourage everyone to follow us on Facebook at Bundaberg Show Office and on Instagram at @bundabergshowqld to stay updated on all the happenings leading up to and during the show, where there’s something fun, for everyone,” Karly said.
