Award-winning British romantic fantasy film All of Us Strangers will be screened at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre to celebrate Pride Month in June.

The haunting, heart-wrenching movie is one of the most talked about films for 2024.

All of Us Strangers tells the tale of loneliness, grief and a deeply personal portrait of newfound love.

The lead character Adam is played by multi award-winning actor Andrew Scott, who can be seen in the new hit series Ripley which is currently screening on Netflix.

Isolating himself from the outside world in his apartment, Adam works as a screenwriter.

One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, he has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbour Harry (Paul Mescal).

This random meeting changes the rhythm of Adam’s everyday life.

As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up.

Upon returning to his childhood home, he finds his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), living just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.

Wrestling with a script derived from his past, Adam immerses himself in the music of his childhood – nostalgic 80s queer-pop classics showcasing the Pet Shop Boys and Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

The exquisite screenplay was written and directed by Andrew Haigh, which he adapted from the 1987 novel Strangers.

Andrew’s personalised film sees his childhood home utilised as the film location for the house where lead character Adam grew up.

All of Us Strangers is a deeply emotional drama with outstanding acting and a strong, unforgettable story that will stay with you long after its final scene.
