This year, 21 events make up the program as Bundaberg Regional Council shines the spotlight on arts, culture, and the local environment.

Events portfolio spokesperson Cr Steve Cooper said this year’s festival was set to be the most vibrant and inclusive yet.

“We’ve curated a diverse line-up of events that truly celebrate the unique cultural and environmental heritage of our region,” Cr Cooper said.

“From interactive workshops to live performances, nature activities, art exhibitions and more, there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy.”

Cr Cooper highlighted a range of ticketed events that were sure to be popular with locals and visitors alike.

“The Milbi Twilight Table, held at the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, is back again this year to delight foodies,” he said.

“Sunset Sounds brought Pete Murray to the local stage in 2023 and this year Alexandra Park will host iconic pop group Sneaky Sound System.

“If you are searching for something a little more calming, new event Crystal Grounding at the Craters will have you engaging with the elements through a sensory experience at Mystery Craters.”

Cr Cooper said a range of free events also made up this year’s program.

“There will be 12 free events available to the community across the Milbi Festival, including the Sunset Launch at Nielson Park, Breakfast at the Zoo, a Weaving Garden workshop, Yoga in the Park, and more,” he said.

“We’ve worked hard to ensure that everyone has the chance to experience the magic of Milbi, regardless of their budget.

“These free events offer a fantastic opportunity to engage with our region’s culture and environment.”

The event kicks off from 25 October to 3 November.
